Relations between Serbia, Japan on a steady pace

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic in a meeting today with Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Juichi Takahara expressed satisfaction with an intensified political dialogue and cooperation between the two countries.
Dacic stressed Serbia's interest in strengthening economic as well as other forms of cooperation, with a special emphasis on measures to increase Japanese investments in Serbia.
During the talks, they reached mutual agreement that the relations of the two countries are on a steady pace and expressed readiness for further strengthening of mutual dialogue, exchange of visits at all levels and connecting of the economies of the two countries.
The First Deputy Prime Minister again expressed his gratitude for the high degree of solidarity shown by the people of Japan towards the Republic of Serbia through donations and grants.
Dacic assessed that support and solidarity are reciprocal and that they represent a lasting value in the further development of friendly relations between Serbia and Japan, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
