Representatives of Serbia invited to attend inauguration of President of Iran

Belgrade, 20 July 2017

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hosein Mol Abdolah in today's talks confirmed the readiness to intensify overall bilateral relations, especially economic cooperation.

Abdolahi conveyed congratulations from Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to Dacic for re-election to the post.

He also invited representatives of the Republic of Serbia to the inauguration of President Hassan Rouhani on 5 August in Tehran.

In the talks, special attention was paid to strengthening bilateral political dialogue and preparing the forthcoming visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran to Serbia.
