They exchanged opinions on the dynamics of the Serbian negotiating process, the situation and cooperation in the region, especially within the framework of the Berlin process, as well as the financial support of the European Union to Serbia.
Dacic expressed hope that the results of this year's Summit will contribute to greater visibility of the region and give a new impetus to the enlargement process, in particular to the negotiating process of the candidates for membership, according to the individual merits of each candidate, with the expected technical and financial support of the European Union to the entire region in order to further stabilise, link, modernise it and make it even closer to the European Union.
Both sides emphasised the importance of the continuation of the reform process in Serbia, to which the newly formed government is fully committed, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
