Dacic extends condolences over landslide in China

Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic sent a telegram of condolences to Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, on the occasion of the lives lost in a landslide that buried the village of Shinmo in the southwest of China.

“I was deepely saddened by the news of the lives lost and many of those missing in the landslide that hit your country.
I am using this opportunity to extend to you and the friendly people of China, on behalf of the Serbian government and my own, my deepest condolences and expressions of the most sincere simpathy with the families that lost their most beloved ones and those who are still searching for them.
Nature is showing us its power more and more often, warning us that we must take care of it together. Serbia is ready to offer support and assistance within its possibilitiesˮ, reads the telegram of codolences.
