The interlocutors discussed bilateral relations, the European path of Serbia and Macedonia and the situation in the region.
Dacic expressed his gratitude to Brende for supporting economic and social reforms in Serbia through various bilateral cooperation programmes, and stressed the need to continue with those reforms.
Brende pointed out that Serbia and Norway are friends and partners, whose economic cooperation is on the rise, and voiced hope that with the progress on the European path that Norway strongly supports, Serbia will attract more Norwegian investors.
Examining the situation in the region, Dacic reiterated a strong commitment to the policy of regional stability and cooperation.
Accordingly, the interlocutors underlined that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina should be continued.
Dacic and Dimitrov agreed that stability of the region is a priority for both countries and estimated that, despite the recent sharp rhetoric, the two governments will cooperate successfully.
They concluded that Serbia and Macedonia have a common goal – membership in the EU and that they must help each other on that path.
