Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today a farewell visit of Ambassador of Tunisia to Belgrade Mohamed Bougamra, and on that occasion he thanked him for the contribution to the improvement of relations between the two countries.

The two officials referred to the traditionally good bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed mutual interest in their further improvement, especially in the economic field.
They emphasised the importance of intensifying political dialogue at high level, of holding the next meeting of the Joint Committee, as well as of the further development of parliamentary cooperation.
Dacic emphasized gratitude for the principled stance of the Republic of Tunisia in the non-recognition of the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo and expressed the hope that Tunisia will continue with its support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, as well as to Serbia’s efforts to address the issue of Kosovo-Metohija in a peaceful way through dialogue.
