Improvement of trade cooperation of Serbia, China

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic and Governor of the Chinese province of Shaanxi Hu Heping opened today the business conference "Serbia-China, investment, trade and tourism".

The conference is held on the second day of the International Fair "Silk Road 2017" in Xi'an, in China.
The business forum gathered more than 100 businessmen from the province of Shaanxi and 20 companies from Serbia, mainly in the fields of agriculture, food industry and tourism.
The main topics of the conference were the promotion of bilateral trade cooperation, as well as considering the possibility of attracting more Chinese tourists to Serbia.
Owing to a well-designed tourist campaign about Serbia on the Chinese market, in the first four months of this year Serbia has recorded an increase of 260% of tourist arrivals from China.
An agreement was reached at the conference to organise a meeting for businessmen from the province of Shaanxi in Kragujevac, which is a twin city of Xi'an city, according to a statement from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
