Intensification of political dialogue with United States

Belgrade, 24 May 2017

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke today with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Hoyt Yee, who is on a visit to Belgrade.

The two officials discussed topics related to bilateral cooperation, regional stability, the European path of Serbia, as well as the continuation of the Brussels dialogue.

Dacic stressed the importance of US support to the current efforts of Serbia in achieving its strategic priorities, and expressed interest of our side for further intensification of the high-level political dialogue.

Yee underlined that the US and Serbia foster close cooperation, and expressed interest that this positive dynamics of bilateral relations further develop in the future.
