Strengthening overall cooperation with United Kingdom

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic highlighted today the need to strengthen cooperation between Serbia and the United Kingdom in all areas and to establish a strategic political dialogue, which was the proposal of the British side.

Speaking at a meeting with Political Director of the UK Foreign Office Karen Pierce, Dacic said that European integration remains the priority of Serbia, as well as commitment to peace and stability in the region and continuation of the reform process.
Pierce expressed readiness of the United Kingdom to strengthen relations and cooperation with Serbia, regardless of their decision to no longer be a member of the European Union.
