Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic met today with Head of the Department of the European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Martin Kotthaus to talk about the European path of Serbia and illegal migrations.

Stefanovic presented the results achieved by Serbia on the Euro-integration agenda, as well as the commitments expected on that path in the upcoming period.
Speaking about the problem of illegal migration, he pointed out that Serbia's cooperation with all countries in the region regarding migrations is at a good level, and assessed that Serbia has a good cooperation with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany regarding the problem of false asylum seekers and activities to reduce their number.
Kotthaus pointed out that Germany is very interested in Serbia's EU integration process, according to a statement by the Ministry of the Interior.
