Speaking about the agreed statement of US ambassadors to Belgrade, Pristina and Tirana, Dacic said that the statements of Rama, Taci and Musliu on the unification of all Albanians and the creation of a Greater Albania are not "careless" as the ambassadors say, but are threatening peace and stability in the Balkans and Europe.
"Would the ambassadors react so mildly if Skopje, Greek Epirus or Montenegrin Ulcinj were mentioned like that, as Musliu put Serbian Nis within the borders of a Greater Albania? They would certainly react more sharply – as if the attack on Serbia is something that can be tolerated.
As long as such statements are not clearly marked as a threat to peace in the region, Albanians will continue with provocations, like Musliu today continued with the story that it is time for unification, which is the task for the prosecutorial office to deal with, as nowhere in the world it is not allowed to call for the distortion territorial integrity of a country. This shall not be the case in Serbia either. The fact that Serbia is abstained in its reactions and wants to play a constructive role in the region does not mean that Serbia is weak. On the contrary, it is a reflection of our strength and commitment to peace.
One thing is certain, these statements are not careless, they are a clear reflection of the platforms of all the Albanians of a Greater Albania. Yesterday Kosovo, today Nis, tomorrow Skopje, and so on.
Do not be careless, Your Excellencies, and fail to see this on time, until it is too late," the written statement of Dacic reads.
