Dacic extends condolences over terrorist attack in Paris

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic has sent a telegram of condolences to his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault on the occasion of last night’s terrorist attack in Paris.

"On behalf of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to citizens of Paris and the French people.
Serbia has been shaken by the attack in the heart of the City of Light and shares in the grief of the families of the victims and their friends.
Unfortunately, it is clear that terrorism knows no borders in spreading fear through violence and targeting innocent victims.
Radical extremism has again put to test our common values and the strength of character, but that has to make us stronger in our resolve to defend the achievements of our European values.
Please convey to the families of the victims our heartfelt condolences. Your Excellency, please accept the assurances of my deep consideration,” reads the telegram of condolences.
