Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic attended today the start of construction of a kindergarten in Srebrenica, which was financed by a grant from Serbia.
Mihajlovic announced that the kindergarten will be completed in September, and will be able to accommodate 150 children.
She laid the foundation stone together with Mayor of Srebrenica Mladen Grujicic and UN Resident Coordinator in Bosnia-Herzegovina and UNDP Resident Representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina Sezin Sinanoglu.
Today began the reconstruction of regional road R-453 in Srebrenica, which is also financed by a grant of the government of Serbia.
Mihajlovic recalled that the Government of Serbia on 11 November 2015 passed a Conclusion on financial aid to the Srebrenica municipality in the amount of €5 million, of which €2 million directly to the budget and €3 million for joint infrastructure projects in the municipality.
Representatives of the contractor and the UNDP signed a preliminary agreement on the construction of the kindergarten and reconstruction of the main road in Srebrenica, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister .
