Dacic said that the relations between Serbia and Germany are at a very high level, characterised by intensive cooperation in all fields, high-level dialogue and constant improvements.
According to Dacic, bilateral relations have significantly improved in recent years, not only in the political but also the economic field.
He recalled that the volume of foreign trade last year reached around €4 billion, that Germany is one of the biggest investors in Serbia and that there are more than 370 German companies in Serbia, employing 35,000 workers.
Dacic stressed that Serbia wants to promote overall cooperation with Germany, and reiterated that our country provides a significant contribution to strengthening stability and cooperation in the region and will continue with its constructive policy in this direction.
Helbach agreed and said that Serbia should be given to the most important role when it comes to stability and the promotion of cooperation in the region.
Serbia is not only the largest and most important country, but also the country with the greatest potential and administrative and other capacities, primarily in the context of European integration, he said.
According to Helbach, it is very important for Germany that Serbia continues its constructive role, because the stability of the region is important both for Germany and for Europe.
Helbach pointed out that the Federal Republic of Germany highly appreciates the policy of Serbia towards migrants, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
