Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic spoke today with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Hani Bin Abdulah Bin Mohamed Mominah, who conveyed interest of businessmen from that country to invest in Serbia.
Mominah, who covers Serbia on non-residential basis from Sarajevo, specified that the areas of greatest interest are tourism, medical tourism, banking, agriculture and industry.
Mihajlovic said that Serbia is open for improvement of business cooperation between the two countries.
She said she will send an official invitation to political and business representatives of Saudi Arabia to visit Serbia and discuss business opportunities.
Mihajlovic presented the business environment in Serbia and underlined that Serbia has a favourable geographical position and is working on infrastructural connecting of the region.
She gave the example of the projects of building a motorway from Belgrade to Sarajevo and the Nis-Pristina-Merdare motorway.
Mominah stated that the relations between the two countries are very good and that he will present to the private sector in his country the opportunities for investing in Serbia.
