After arriving in Havana, Dacic met with ACS General Secretary June Soomer.
He stressed the importance that Serbia attaches to cooperation with the ACS and put forward a proposal for further promotion of mutual cooperation with the agreed objectives.
The First Deputy Prime Minister stressed that it is necessary to determine the areas in which cooperation could be further expanded.
Dacic said that Serbia implemented reforms in order to accelerate the European integration process.
Soomer expressed gratitude to Dacic for participating in the 22nd session of the Ministerial Council of the ACS.
She emphasised the role of the ACS in the creation of peace in the Caribbean region, and stressed the importance of the principle of resolving all outstanding issues with the legal means and presented the head of the Serbian diplomacy with programmes and projects that promote the ACS.
They agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between Serbia and the ACS in order to improve cooperation in areas of mutual interest, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
