Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic presented today in Istanbul to the leading Turkish producers the advantages of the Serbian textile industry and incentives that are offered to foreign investors.
Ljajic stated on this occasion that Serbia has the best business climate in the region and the most favourable conditions for foreign investors, as well as experienced and qualified workforce in the textile sector.
He said that in the past year 136 businesses owned by Turkish citizens were registered in Serbia, noting that this is a clear sign that the economic relations between the two countries are on the constant rise.
During the meeting with textile producers from Turkey gathered in the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK), two companies from the textile industry announced their arrival to Serbia in March when they will start the realisation of their investments.
