Dacic also met with Slovenian President Borut Pahor,
Speaker of the Slovenian parliament Milan Brglez and
Prime Minister Miro Cerar.
A visit to the City Hall and a meeting with Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Jankovic was also organised, as well as with representatives of the Serbian community in Slovenia at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.
The First Deputy Prime Minister discussed with Slovenian officials the promotion of bilateral relations, economic cooperation, succession, European integration, migration, the situation in the Western Balkans and relations with neighbouring countries.
Excellent relations between Serbia and Slovenia were highlighted in all talks, with an emphasis on the economic sphere.
Trade between the two countries reached €1 billion and is growing every year. Slovenia is Serbia’s ninth biggest partner in foreign trade, and Serbia is Slovenia’s sixth biggest trade partner.
The Slovenian side expressed satisfaction with the successful implementation of the Succession Agreement, which is one of the most important issues for Slovenia in bilateral relations.
The visit has confirmed good relations between the two countries, common interests and the strengthening of economic cooperation, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
