First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in Serbia Vladimir Chushev.

Dacic and Chushev during the meeting discussed the basic issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the framework of mutual exchange and support for international organisations.
The officials pointed out that after the official visit of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to Minsk in late January this year bilateral political dialogue between Serbia and Belarus intensified, but also stressed the need for a more dynamic involvement in joint economic projects, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
