Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic, who led the delegation of the two countries in a joint two-day visit to Saudi Arabia, met yesterday in Riyadh with Saudi Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the responsible ministers of trade, agriculture and construction industry of that country.
During the meeting, a joint trilateral committee that deals with the creation and monitoring of activities related to increasing trade and Saudi investments in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Also, during a meeting with Minister of Agriculture, Water and Environment Abdulrahman Bin Abdel Mohsen Al Fadhly, it was agreed to hold a joint fair in Riyadh, where agricultural and food products and potentials of Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina will be presented.
Minister of Construction and Housing Majed bin Abdullah al-Hogail invited companies from Serbia and Bosnia-Hercegocine the field of construction to participate in tenders in Saudi Arabia, as it is expected to build more than 1.5 million housing units in the country over the next seven years.
Besides this, it was agreed with Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also chairman of the State Commission for Tourism and Cultural Heritage, to organise a visit of tour operators from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina in April this year, according a statement from the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
