After talks that were also attended by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister of the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government in Kosovo Isa Mustafa and President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci, Vucic told reporters that the meeting was very difficult and that certain things have been achieved through an open dialogue about matters about which attitudes were distinctly opposite.
We managed, with the support of the EU, to agree on the resumption of dialogue, a series of high-level dialogue in the future, explained the Prime Minister.
He said that if, when it comes to Belgrade, he will personally ask every minister and government official to act in this way, expressing his belief that Belgrade will stick to its word.
With such behaviour, thus we protect people on the ground, no matter whether they are Serbs or Albanians, he said.
The Prime Minister noted that this shows that we are able to understand the damage that we can inflict to each other, the damage that we do not need.
I believe that we can avoid that in the future, Vucic concluded.
