Intensifying bilateral cooperation with Spain

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke today, on the sidelines of the 23rd meeting of the Ministerial Council of the OSCE in Hamburg, with newly-appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain Alfonso Dastis.

Dacic and Dastis agreed that bilateral relations of the two countries are traditionally close, and they voiced support for the continuation and intensification of cooperation at bilateral and multilateral levels.
The two officials ascertained the full harmony of the two countries’ positions in terms of respect for the principles of international law.
Dacic expressed deep gratitude to Spain on its principled support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia and to the process of EU integration of our country.
The exchange of visits at the highest political level was also discussed, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
