Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan respects the territorial integrity and the integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
Stefanovic expressed Serbia's commitment to respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of both countries and further continuation of support in international institutions.
Serbia is grateful for the support of Azerbaijan in defending Kosovo-Metohija as an integral part of our country, said Stefanovic.
Referring to the cooperation between the two countries, he said the concretisation and operationalisation of cooperation may lead to improvements in all areas, especially in the field of business cooperation, as well as in the field of security, which is crucial for the implementation of all other activities.
Stefanovic and Aliyev talked about the possibilities and the arrival of new investors from Azerbaijan to Serbia, which would enable opening of new jobs.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister thanked on previous investments, as well as on joint work on the construction of infrastructure in Serbia.
During the meeting, they emphasised the commitment of both countries to support each other at the international level and the desire to maintain the stability of the two countries.
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic conducts the policy that guarantees the stability of our region, and Azerbaijan is doing everything to be a reliable partner, said Stefanovic, adding that good business relations guarantee a strong deepening cooperation between the two countries in all fields of interest a better life.
Stefanovic and Usubov spoke about the establishment of concrete link between the police of the two countries in the fight against organised and other forms of crime aimed at faster and more efficient exchange of information, as well as on specific measures to be taken in the future.
Speaking about the migrant crisis, he stressed the importance of establishing a more stable system and better control of people entering Serbia, in order to achieve complete security of our citizens.
Serbia continues to be a humane and decent country that is concerned about migrants, but we want to share information with other countries that could help us to prevent potential threats to the security of our country, but also to continue with an efficient fight against organised crime, he said.
