Speaking at a regular press conference, he said that Chapter 5, which relates to public procurement, and perhaps chapters 25 and 26, on education, science and culture are expected to be opened.
He added that the meeting of the General Affairs Council of the EU is expected on 13 December, which will adopt conclusions on enlargement, to be confirmed by the European Council.
We expect that this document will be positively intoned to show everything that Serbia has done in the past and will be a reference for the opening of new negotiation chapters, the First Deputy Prime Minister said.
Dacic said that the agreement on the judiciary reached in Brussels in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina is important for general assessment of the progress made, and will certainly contribute to the opening of chapters, but added that the formation of Serbian municipalities remains an essential question.
Belgrade wants to continue the status neutral dialogue with Pristina, he said and recalled the statement by EP rapporteur for Kosovo Ulrike Lunacek, who said that she feels sorry that five EU countries have not recognised Kosovo.
This, he added, shows how much pressure is not only to Serbia, but also to the EU member states to recognise Kosovo.
