Support of OSCE to reform process in Interior Ministry

Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic met today with the newly appointed Head of the OSCE Mission in Serbia Andrea Orizio to speak on continuation of the reform process and activities that the Ministry undertakes to fulfill the obligations related to the strategic goals of Serbia.
Stefanovic and Orizio assessed that cooperation is successful, and pointed out that there is room for improvement, especially in the fight against organised crime, corruption and terrorism, reform process within the Ministry of Interior, as well as in the reform of human resources management system.
Stefanovic pointed out that the aim of the Ministry is to continue with European integration through concrete reforms and fulfillment of obligations under Chapter 24.
He said he expects further support and continued cooperation with the OSCE Mission.
