Speaking at the annual meeting of foreign ministers of member countries of the Visegrad Group and the foreign ministers of the Western Balkans held in Warsaw, he said that the European future of the countries of the region in the current circumstances will be more and more difficult to attain.
He warned of the conditionality policy, which is why our citizens legitimately ask whether there is indeed a genuine intention to have Serbia and the rest of the region as members of the European family.
Dacic pointed out that the countries of the region need to know what the European Union expects and wants from them.
Asking for strategic patience of the region, which for more than a decade failed to move closer to the EU, will not contribute to the intensification of reforms and strengthening stability. We need strategic support from the EU in all aspects, he added.
We have a dialogue with Pristina on normalisation, we are constructive, but it does not mean that we agree with those that Kosovo is a state, Dacic concluded.
