Dacic said in a debate of associate members and observers at the 32nd session of the Ministerial Conference of the Francophonie in Madagascar that Serbia sincerely shares the values of the OIF, whose motto is equality, complementarity and solidarity.
The Minister reiterated Serbia's priority towards full membership in the European Union, noting that we are actively committed to the progress in the negotiation process and the opening of new negotiating chapters.
Dacic pointed out that Serbia is against the politicisation of the work of international organisations such as the OIF, UNESCO and the entire UN system, reminding that the so-called Kosovo has received observer status in OIF Summit in Dakar.
Serbia is strongly committed to dialogue with Pristina, which is conducted under the auspices of the EU and is one of the few successful examples of peaceful settlement of disputes in today's world.
The so-called Kosovo can participate in regional organisations and in numerous other international activities in a status neutral manner and in accordance with UNSCR 1244, he said.
He also called on the OIF to contribute to the final success of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina with the mediation of the EU and in the function of political and economic stability of the Western Balkans.
