Given that Dacic and Dion signed a declaration of intent regarding the Air Transport Agreement, both sides expressed hope for its early conclusion, by the end of this year or the in the first half of 2017.
The two officials exchanged views on bilateral, as well as current international issues, on the OSCE Chairmanship of Serbia, Serbia's role in the region, European integration, the relationship between the two countries with NATO and the Russian Federation.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada was pleased to accept the invitation to visit our country.
The two officials confirmed a mutual desire to improve political dialogue and the Canadian side expressed understanding for Serbia’s arguments regarding the current visa restrictions of Canada towards Serbia.
The Canadian side expressed readiness to provide full support to our country in the implementation of the reform process on its path towards the EU.

Dacic yesterday attended the inaugural meeting of the Friendship Group for cooperation with Serbia in the Parliament of Canada, whose President is Senator Larry Campbell, and the Deputy is member of the Parliament Bob Bratina, who is of Serbian origin.
The Friendship Group expressed its readiness for active involvement in the promotion of Serbia in order to create a positive image in Canadian society.
Yesterday Dacic also met with Coordinator of the government's majority in the Parliament of Canada Andrew Leslie.
The Serbian Foreign Minister informed Leslie about the problems faced by Serbian citizens when applying for a Canadian visa, and invited him to visit Serbia.
The Coordinator of the government’s majority in the Parliament of Canada accepted the invitation with pleasure, and pointed out that he will advocate the removing of barriers that have been imposed on Serbia by the Canadian visa regime.
