During the meeting, the officials exchanged opinions and confirmed mutual willingness to further strengthen cooperation of Serbia with the Pan-African Parliament and African countries at the bilateral level.
Pointing to the great importance which our country attaches to developing relations with African countries, Dacic conveyed the willingness that Serbia, as a key successor of the policy of the SFRY reaches the then level of relations, both at the political and at the economic level.
Regarding the expectations expressed by Dacic that the African countries that have not recognised the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo retain this position, Dang confirmed the continuation of principled support of the Pan-African Parliament, Cameroon and other African countries to Serbia regarding Kosovo on bilateral and multilateral levels.
The President of the Pan-African Parliament also pointed to the excellent and traditionally friendly relations between African countries with Serbia.
