Dacic said in a written statement to the press that at today's session of the General Assembly of Interpol in Indonesia, another attempt of Kosovo for membership in this organisation has failed.
He explained that the General Assembly refused all requests to put on the agenda additional points of Kosovo’s request for membership, although Kosovo had been preparing for months and sent a note to all Member States.
Dacic recalled that Kosovo applied for membership in April 2015, but the Executive Committee of Interpol has not accepted its application.
In this way, it has been affirmed once more, after UNESCO, that unilateral moves by Kosovo to become a member of international organisations do not receive support, thanks to the action of the Serbian government on uncovering such a policy, Dacic reiterated.
