Improving security cooperation with Russia

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with Secretary of Security Council of Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev to discuss specific bilateral issues, as well as current security issues at regional and international level.

On this occasion, Dacic reiterated that relations between the two countries are traditionally good and are developing in the mutual interest, pointing out that it is necessary to provide additional incentives for the improvement of trade and economic cooperation.
At the meeting they discussed the relations between the two countries in the security field, as well as opportunities for improvement, and an agreement was reached about the need to achieve better cooperation with the Russian security services.
