Mihajlovic calls on Italian investors to further invest in Serbia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic called on Italian investors to continue to invest in Serbia because the arrival of new investors and opening of factories is extremely important to reduce youth unemployment.

Speaking at a business forum "Italy and Serbia: We build together", Mihajlovic pointed out that the cooperation between Serbia and Italy is very good, noting that at least 500 companies from Italy, employing more than 20,000 people, are operating in Serbia.
The value of investments of Italian companies in Serbia amounts to about €2 billion, she said, and added that the figure is expected to be even larger in the next period.

Mihajlovic told the investors that if they wish to operate in Serbia, they will have at disposal a person from the Ministry in order to facilitate administrative procedures.
She recalled that in previous years Italy has become the first trade partner of Serbia, which is one of the results of the commitment of the government and Italian Ambassador in Belgrade Giuseppe Manzo.
