Dacic said that the visit of Singh is a confirmation of very good political relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of India and the desire to strengthen traditional ties between the two countries that are characterized by openness, mutual respect and friendship traditionally anchored in the Non-Aligned Movement.
The two sides expressed mutual interest in further promotion of all forms of cooperation, especially economic.
They also expressed hope that visits at the high level will take part soon and that, as a result of a favourable business climate in Serbia, there will be more Indian investments in the Serbian economy.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs underlined that Serbia highly appreciates the principled position of India in relation to the issue of Kosovo-Metohija, as well as its support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
Both sides expressed condemnation for terrorism and all acts contrary to international law, as well as threats to peace and security, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
