Strengthening bilateral relations of Serbia, Switzerland

Belgrade, 12 Oct 2016 –First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Swiss Ambassador to Serbia Philippe Guex noted today that the bilateral relations have been intensified, and political dialogue promoted through exchange of visits at the highest level.

Dacic and Guex particularly highlighted the progress in the fields of economy and culture.
In addition to the bilateral level, excellent cooperation was achieved during the consecutive OSCE chairmanship of Serbia and Switzerland, which has contributing to successful results of this organisation.
Dacic pointed to the significant presence of Swiss companies in Serbia, and expressed the hope that there will be an even greater inflow of investments from that country.
Guex agreed with the First Deputy Prime Minister and expressed confidence that the bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to be stronger in the future.
