Bilateral relations between Serbia, Japan on the rise

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with President of Serbia Friendship Society-Japan and former Ambassador to Serbia Tadashi Nagai.

Speaking at the meeting Dacic expressed particular satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations between Serbia and Japan.
He pointed out the interest of Serbia to further strengthen political dialogue, the exchange of visits at the high and highest level, the promotion of economic cooperation, increasing Japanese investments, as well as the intensification of other forms of cooperation.
The First Deputy Prime Minister sent a congratulatory message to Japan, which will host the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Nagai said that the bilateral relations between the two countries are on the rise, and stressed the importance of strengthening economic, and other forms of cooperation, primarily cultural and educational, as well as the strengthening of direct contacts between individuals, businesspeople and organisations, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
