Cooperation between Serbia, Slovakia in infrastructure projects

Belgrade, 10 October 2016

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic and Ambassador of Slovakia to Serbia Dagmar Repcekova talked today about the promotion of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of road, water and rail transport.

Mihajlovic informed Repcekova about potential infrastructure projects that Slovakia and Slovak companies could be involved in.

At the meeting they discussed the projects in the field of road and railway infrastructure, which will also be discussed at the upcoming seven-day session of the government of Serbia in Nis.

Also, they discussed possible cooperation between the two countries in energy efficiency projects.

Repcekova praised the traditionally good relations between the two countries, and expressed the expectation that the good cooperation will continue on new projects.
