First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu highligted their mutual commitment to further development of political, economic and cultural cooperation, as well as in the energy and tourism sectors.

The two officials pointed out that this is of particular importance for the stability of the region, to reduce tensions and increase its prosperity.
In the context of deepening political dialogue, Dacic invited Cavusoglu to a meeting of the Organisation for Black Sea Economic Cooperation in December, during which the presidency over this organisation would be handed over to Turkey.
Also, it was agreed to improve cooperation of diplomatic academies of the two countries, and that Turkey share its experiences with Serbia regarding the most advanced system of electronic archiving of documents that is being used in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.
Both sides agreed on the need to intensify economic cooperation, which is of mutual interest and benefit, and in this context, they set as the objective to achieve trade volume of $1 billion a year.
