In an open and constructive conversation they exchanged views on the situation in the region, as well as on a number of issues in the field of international security and dealing with the current security challenges.
Both sides agreed that it is important to maintain and promote peace and stability in the region, as a key condition for the prosperity of the countries in the Western Balkans, as well as the region as a whole, and to ensure dialogue in resolving outstanding issues in a constructive spirit, with mutual respect and a willingness to find sustainable solutions.
They exchanged opinions about dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and underlined the need for its continuation in order to implement the agreements reached.
They also discussed a number of multilateral issues in the field of international security, which in future will be discussed at international forums, reads a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
