Former MEPs provide support for Serbia's European path

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with former members of the European Parliament who are on an official visit to Serbia to discuss the current state of the process of European integration of Serbia.

Dacic informed his interlocutors about cooperation with neighbouring countries, current issues of foreign policy, as well as the attitudes of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia on the current issues in the world.
He expressed satisfaction over the opportunity to talk with former MEPs, who have a lot of experience that can contribute in the future cooperation with the European Parliament.
Former MEPs have supported continuation of the process of negotiations between Serbia and the EU on full membership, and emphasised our country's constructive role in maintaining regional stability and cooperation, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
