Speaking at a press conference, Dacic pointed out that Serbia’s view on the referendum in Republika Srpska is well-known, and reiterated that Serbia is investing a lot of effort in peace and stability in the region and that it respects the territorial integrity of Bosnia -Herzegovina and Republika Srpska.
He said that he not had noticed a sharp reaction of the international community when in 1991 and 1992 referendums were held by Bosniaks and Albanians, as they react now to the referendum in Republika Srpska.
The First Deputy Prime Minister said that any threats are unacceptable, and that he had to react to the statement by former war commander of the Army of Bosnia-Herzegovina Sefer Halilovic, and that he had every right to do so.
Dacic said that he respects the decision of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic that the authorities in Belgrade refrain themselves and do not participate in pointless polemics, but that he had to react to the statement of Halilovic because it was not denied, nor did Bosniak politicians distance themselves from it.
