Dacic highlighted in an interview with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar Beatrice Atallah the importance of deepening cooperation, especially in the fields of education, culture and economy.
Atallah invited Serbia to participate in the summit of the Francophonie, which will take place in Madagascar in November, and also invited Dacic to make a bilateral visit to that country.
She expressed gratitude for the scholarships that Serbia awards to students from Madagascar through the programme "World in Serbia".
During the talks with Foreign Minister of Lebanon Gebran Bassil, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia underlined the importance of the traditionally good relations between the two countries and thanked him for the principled support regarding the issue of Kosovo-Metohija.
Bassil said that Lebanon understands the position of Serbia, due to the fact that in Lebanon there are similar problems, and in this context stressed that Serbia can always count on the support of his country on the issue of Kosovo-Metohija.
They also spoke about the problems of terrorism and extremism, describing them as the biggest threat in the Middle East and beyond.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon has announced that he plans to visit Serbia, which he considers a good opportunity for talks on improving cooperation between the two countries.
At a meeting with Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev, Dacic pointed to the importance of friendly relations between the two countries, and conveyed appreciation for the strong support of Kyrgyzstan on all issues that are of great importance for Serbia.
Abdyldaev stressed that his country’s position is firm and will not change, and suggested to Dacic to visit Kyrgyzstan, which will be an opportunity for further strengthening of the traditionally good bilateral relations.
Dacic also met with his counterpart from Nepal Prakash Sharan Mahat, whom he informed about the current situation and progress in dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
They noted that although Serbia and Nepal are very far away, they are connected by good bilateral relations and that there is room for improvement of cooperation.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cabo Verde Luis Filipe Tavares agreed that there is ample room for improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries.
He appealed to his interlocutor that the position of the Republic of Cabo Verde on issues important for Serbia, and that Serbia highly appreciates, remains unchanged.
Tavares expressed his gratitude for the order which Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has awarded to the President of the Republic of Cabo Verde.
Dacic and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cameroon Mbella Mbella Lejeune agreed at yesterday's meeting to make bilateral visits in the near future, during which possibilities of promoting cooperation in the fields of economy, education and culture will be examined.
Expressing gratitude to Cameroon on understanding the problems that Serbia has, Dacic informed Mbella about the progress of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, which is conducted under the auspices of the EU.
In an interview with Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mubashir Agbar, it was agreed that good relations between the two countries date back to the times of the former Yugoslavia, especially from the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement.
The interlocutors agreed that, despite excellent cooperation, there is room for improvement of economic relations.
Agbar said that a good opportunity for improving cooperation could be the participation of Serbia in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, which is organised by the Prime Minister of India and is attended by prime ministers.
Dacic and Foreign Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dennis Moses underlined that it is necessary to work on the improvement of bilateral cooperation, and on deepening cooperation within international organisations.
On the sidelines of the session of the General Assembly, the First Deputy Prime Minister also met with Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland.
