Serbia important partner of China in Europe

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Deputy Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission Wang Xiaotao spoke about cooperation between the two countries to date, which has been marked recently by the rise in political dialogue and joint infrastructure projects.

Dacic stressed the importance which our country attaches to relations with China, from the support in the most important issues to concrete forms of cooperation.
He emphasized the strategic importance of infrastructure projects in Serbia in the context of cooperation within the “One Belt, One Road” strategy and the mechanism of China-CIEZ.
In this regard, he said, the project of modernisation of the Belgrade-Budapest railway has a major role, which is an opportunity for the development of the region and greater trade and the flow of goods and people, as well as projects of industrial capacity development.
