Dacic recalled that the UN Security Council holds discussions on the report of the Secretary General on the situation in the province every three months.
The First Deputy Prime Minister said that yesterday he held talks with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia on bilateral relations between the two countries, noting that Serbia has traditionally good relations with that country.
He said that Malaysia has abolished visas for our citizens, while the Serbian government will soon make a return measure and relieve citizens of Malaysia of visas, but added that it is important to sign an agreement on mutual abolition of visas.
On the other hand, he said that it is necessary to improve the level of contacts between the two countries, and therefore economic cooperation, and stressed that the foreign trade between Serbia and Malaysia is very small.
When it comes to the UN Security Council, he said he expects a very heated discussion with representatives of the provisional institutions of government in Pristina.
The First Deputy Prime Minister said that this time Pristina will be represented bz representative in the United States Viljora Citaku, who is known for unprincipled position on Serbia.
He said that our country wants to develop good relations in the region, seeks regional peace and stability, but Serbia cannot accept unilateral acts as unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo, but also insists on the formation of the Community of Serbian municipalities.
Dacic announced that on 26 August he will meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
