Serbia opposes revisionist policy, justifying crimes

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that our country will not allow the denial and justification of crimes against Serbs, and expressed his belief that the EU will react promptly to the anti-Serb policy being conducted in Croatia.

Dacic said at an impromptu press conference that today's speech of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia Miro Kovac constitutes hate speech against Serbia, the Serbs and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

Dacic said that Croatia has not responded to a single query from Serbia about the latest incidents such as the annulment of the conviction of Roman Catholic Cardinal Aloysius Stepinac, the overturning of the conviction to Branimir Glavas, the events in Srb and the unveiling of a monument to Miro Baresic.

Serbia will not allow a denial and justification of the crimes against Serbs and we will not allow humiliations, Dacic said.

Germany refers to Hitler as the greatest evil, while Croatia is proud of the Independent State of Croatia (NDH).

Dacic recalled that regarding certain procedures, acts or statements of certain officials, Serbia sent protest notes, especially as they relate to the revision of historical facts, rehabilitatation of the NDH, which was the Nazi creation and which committed serious crimes, above all against the Serbian population.

According to Dacic, whenever Serbia demonstrates opposition to the rehabilitation of fascism and Nazism, there is no answer, but claims that we are advocating the Greater Serbia policy.
