Serbia strongly condemns fascist incidents in Croatia

Belgrade, 31 July 2016

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today, regarding the statement of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia Miro Kovac that Croatia should stop propaganda resembling that of the 1940s and the Nazi Ustasha NDH.

Rehabilitation of Stepinac, Ustasha rampage in Srb and across Croatia, naming streets after Mile Budak, Ustasha minister who is the creator of the idea that a third of the Serbs should be killed, a third expelled and a third catholicised, naming the streets after 10 April, the day of creation of NDH, the fascist Ustasha salute at stadiums and concerts, swastikas on the ground in Poljud, the erection of a monument to Ustasha terrorists Barisic who killed the Yugoslav ambassador, etc. is the rehabilitation of fascist Ustasha NDH, Dacic said.

He also recalled that more than 250,000 Serbs were expelled from Croatia in the 1990s.

Poor is the EU if its value system is based on today's Croatia and its ideas of rehabilitation of fascist Ustasha NDH, against which the whole world fought, Dacic concluded.
