During today's meeting, Dacic conveyed appreciation for the active participation of Ukraine in KFOR, whose troops, with the sincere support of the local Serbian population, protect Serbian holy shrines in Kosovo-Metohija.
The officials noted that it is necessary to further promote bilateral relations.
To this end, they expressed the need to restart the mechanism of the Joint Committee, which should lead to the signing of a series of agreements, one of which is the free trade agreement, which aims to further develop cooperation.
Ukraine is the only European country with which the Republic of Serbia has no such agreement.
The Ukrainian side confirmed its constructive attitude towards Serbia's accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO), with a mutual expectation that the negotiations on this subject will be completed by the end of 2017.

It also confirmed the holding of a business forum "Serbia - Ukraine" will be organised by the chambers of commerce of the two countries in September in Kiev.
The Ukrainian side expressed its interest in the experience of the Republic of Serbia in the European integration process, and in this regard an agreement was reached on the exchange of experiences, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
