First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic received Italian Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Vincenzo Amendola, who noted that the opening of negotiation chapters 23 and 24 in Serbia's accession talks would be a concrete political message about the continuation of the country's European integration.
Italy has launched preparations to chair a Western Balkans summit in Rome in July next year within the Berlin process, Amendola said, proposing a strengthening of bilateral dialogue and development of cooperation on concrete infrastructure projects involving Italian SMEs.
Serbia is highly appreciative of Italy's continued support on the European integration path, Dacic said, welcoming next year's Western Balkans summit in Rome.
