New areas for intensification in relations with China

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Serbia Li Manchang voiced satisfaction with a very successful visit of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping to Serbia.

Ambassador Manchang conveyed the greetings of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi to Dacic and also expressed his appreciation for the contribution Dacic and the Serbian Foreign Ministry gave to the successful visit of the Chinese President.
Dacic stressed that Serbia highly values the bilateral relations with the People's Republic of China, which was raised to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership by signing the Joint Declaration.
According to Dacic, it opens up new areas for intensification of relations and cooperation, but it is also an obligation to consistently enrich bilateral cooperation.
The two officials highlighted a high level of understanding and mutual support on a number of issues of vital interest for Serbia and China, as well as cooperation in various international forums.
