First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today on a farewell visit Ambassador of Romania to Serbia Daniel Banu, whom he thanked for the successful and friendly cooperation during his term in office in Belgrade.
Dacic and Banu emphasised that good bilateral relations are based on traditional ties and mutual understanding, and that in the region they serve as a model of good neighbourly relations.
The two officials noted that an intense, open and constructive bilateral dialogue has been conducted in the previous period, which is a result of numerous visits of officials of Serbia and Romania.
Dacic and Banu highlighted the mutual commitment to the continuation of upward trend in the relations and further strengthening of cooperation in all areas of common interest, reads a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
