Positive trend in relations with United States to be continued

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic expressed gratitude today to US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott on the support which he gives to our country on its European path.
During the meeting with the American Ambassador, Dacic expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral political relations between the two countries and the level of mutual trust reached.
The First Deputy Prime Minister underlined Serbia’s readiness to continue the positive trend.
Ambassador Scott expressed worry over the inflammatory political rhetoric in the Serbian parliament recently that transcends diplomatic standards, and expressed confidence that the Serbian government will harshly oppose this harmful phenomenon. He stressed that the United States supports the process of European integration of Serbia and the negotiation process in Brussels, and expressed expectation that the positive dynamics of bilateral relations will continue in the future.
